Act of Spiritual Communion

On Sunday I participated at mass with Father Jerin Lous via live stream. At Communion one of the readers prayed a prayer for Spiritual Communion. It was prayed right after Father Jerin received the host....I am adding this prayer for all of you to use. As we have heard Bishop Colli has stated that all churches must be closed by mandate of the provincial government so many of us will be watching masses on television. Let us continue to pray for all people that they listen to wise counsel and stay at home unless absolutely necessary.

Spiritual Communion Prayer

My Jesus,  I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.  I love You above all things,  and I desire to receive You into my soul.  Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,  come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
