International Women's Day

Sunday March 8 is International Women's Day a day to recognize women and girls who have achieved greatness in their lives. The theme Because Of You has sparked time for pondering. In the world today there are so many women who have and are making a difference.

On a more personal level, if I were to continue the phrase "because of you..." who would I be talking to / about and why? A first thought is my mom who gave me the gift of faith. As a convert she was the best example I've had of living out our baptismal call. I can't imagine my life without God in it.

Over the years there were many more influencers none less than the women I have met through my years as a member of The League. So for the rest of this week I invite you to think and thank those who influenced your life personally or globally.
