Virtual Bazaar

Interesting what can come from a phone conversation!

A few days ago I was chatting with a fellow CWLer and she mentioned an idea that has been rolling around in her mind......

In these special times when fall / winter bazaars are not possible why not plan a virtual bazaar. We seem to be thriving on technology for so much more so why not have a bit of fun and raise a bit of money for a worthy cause. Quite simply produce a poster that features your normal bazaar fare and then invite people to place the amount they would normally spend in an envelop marked virtual bazaar and place it a collection at church or drop off at the parish office. This way the CWL can still support its charities and the parish.

I was so excited about the idea that I thought I'd share it with all of you. I guess you could say it is a phantom bake sale with a twist. Chat this up with your council and see where it might take you....lets have some fun!
